Dr. Woo’s extensive academic background began at Cornell University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences. He then went on to complete a Master of Science in Biotechnology from Johns Hopkins University before earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) at the Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine. To further refine his expertise, Dr. Woo completed rigorous post-doctoral training and a second Master of Science in Periodontics at the prestigious Columbia University College of Dental Medicine.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Woo has served as a faculty member at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. Dr. Woo brings a well-rounded clinical perspective to our practice, having spent several years practicing as a general dentist in Chicago before transitioning into specialized periodontal care in New York. He holds an active New York State dental license and is a board-eligible periodontist. Staying at the forefront of dental technology, Dr. Woo is fully certified in advanced, minimally invasive laser treatments, including LANAP and LAPIP, allowing him to treat periodontal disease and failing implants with precision and care.
