Administration

A lot happens outside of the dental operatories – calls need to be answered, patients to be scheduled, insurance verified, dental claims to be paid, and the list goes on. These are our unseen heroes that most of the patients do not know. However, having a talented auxiliary staff is what makes or breaks the office success. 209 NYC Dental is proud to have such an eclectic and skilled team of administrative personnel.

Anela C.
Anela C.
Dental Receptionist Anela was born in Sarajevo, Bosnia, and Herzegovina. She came to the United States from war torn Sarajevo in 1996. Anela picked the dental field as a career because of her traumatic experience with multiple teeth extraction in her former country. That scary experience made her want to face the dental field in a different light. As an adult she wanted to eliminate fear and hyper-anxious moments for her patients visiting our dental practice. Professionally, Anela sees the dental field as very challenging and rewarding at the same time. She feels that it is a great feeling to see happy patients walking out of the dental office with a beautiful smile and with healthy teeth. She feels that proper culture in the work environment is paramount to delivering proper patient care.

She also can be seen at the Bronx Juvenile Center and her younger son’s high school. She is a wonderful cook and has a profound love of ‘muscle cars’. Francesca is the person who meets and greets our patients. Her place is a “hot seat” as we call it in the office. She manages to welcome every patient that walks into the office, collects all the new patient forms, unfortunately, dentistry is not excused from red tape. She communicates with dentists, hygienists and x-ray technicians to make sure that all patients are seeing on time, and she does it with a smile on her face. “Happy patient, happy life” is her motto.
