One of our most important services we offer is also the most routine. A routine hygiene appointment with us is not just a regular dental cleaning in NYC. Regular appointments with one of our highly skilled, knowledgeable and dedicated dental hygienists will help you achieve and maintain optimal oral health. These New York State-licensed dental professionals are specially trained in preventive dental care, to keep your mouth healthy and happy. No matter how complicated your dental care has been, from simple fillings or crowns, to implants and cosmetic surgery, our hygienist can help you maintain the new restorations for years and years to come. Our hygienists, like everyone in our practice, are dedicated to continuing education at the highest level. We encourage each hygienist to attend multiple continuing education courses every year (beyond the minimum required by law) in order to ensure that our patients continue to receive the very best care. Our NYC dental cleanings are done with a personal touch – and during every appointment with the hygienist, the patient is also examined by a doctor.

Ella Grinberg
Registered Dental Hygienist Born in Odessa, Ukraine, Ella immigrated to the United States in 1992. She graduated from NYU College of Dentistry in 1998. She started working in this practice in 1998. Ella enjoys educating her patients in the prevention of periodontal disease. She likes to work with children and is certified in the application of local anesthesia. Ella loves classical music and is a current student at the New School University. As a trained musicologist, Ella has introduced her love for symphonies to her colleagues at 209. When she is not playing her piano, Ella can be found at Lincoln Center enjoying the beautiful music.
Larissa Hauron
Registered Dental Hygienist Born in Minsk, capital of Belarus, Lora immigrated to the United States in 2001. She joined our practice immediately after her graduation from NYU College of Dentistry in 2007. Lora enjoys educating her patients about proper oral hygiene and prevention of periodontal disease. She is also certified in the application of local anesthesia. Lora enjoys everything New York has to offer but in the summer, it's all Jersey Shore!
Oksana Kavaka
Registered Dental Hygienist Oksana was born and raised in the Ukraine . She graduated from the Medical Academy of Ukraine in 1996 as a dentist. She practiced for five years, before coming to the USA. Oksana loves dentistry & is very passionate about it . That's why after she moved to USA, she continues to work in her chosen field. Treating people, teaching them about prevention of disease and establishing long lasting relationships is her life’s goal . In 2007 Oksana graduated from City Tech as a RDH. She joined our practice shortly after & is a very happy to be part of the 209 team.
