Educational Background
Dr. Stump is a general and cosmetic dentist who grew up in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Stump received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from The Ohio State University, his Master of Science in Medical Physiology from Case Western Reserve University and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from New York University College of Dentistry.
Field Experience
Residency at College of Physicians & Surgeons of Columbia University- Harlem Hospital Center. During this time, Dr. Stump gained invaluable experience in comprehensive and emergency care and full mouth rehabilitation.
Dr. Stump shares the mission of providing a high level of care and value to his patients and in serving the local community with kindness and a gentle hand. One of his passions is providing care to United States military veterans to honor his late grandfather who served in the Air Force. During his time at NYU, Dr. Stump was selected to the Veterans Oral Health Initiative where he provided comprehensive care to veterans in the New York metropolitan area and looks forward to continuing this work today.
Dr. Stump believes that the ultimate service he can provide for his patients is to empower them to keep their natural teeth strong, healthy, and beautiful for a lifetime by practicing minimally invasive and conservative dentistry. He accomplishes this with extensive experience in preventive, restorative, and cosmetic services. A life-long learner, Dr. Stump continues to stay on the cutting edge with evidence-based comprehensive dentistry continuing education courses to deliver the highest quality care to his patients. He believes in openness and transparency in the diagnostic process; working hand-in-hand with you to move in the direction of health and well-being.
Certifications
Dr. Stump is an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA), New York State Dental Association (NYSDA), and Second District Dental Society of New York(SDDS). Dr. Stump also has his Botulinum Toxin(Botox) and Dermal Filler certification.
Outside of the office, Dr. Stump enjoys spending time with his wonderful wife Erin, their dog Sadie, and is most excited to welcome their first child in 2024. He enjoys cheering on his Cleveland sports teams and The Ohio State Buckeyes, exercising, traveling, cooking, trying new restaurants, and golfing.
